this was our first bbq in australia. it was nats birthday weekend. those of you who dont look at nats blog will have missed the pics. this is one of the free bbqs in australia. they are not like the real ones we have back home where you have to light coals and scorch all food black beyond recognition, they are basically gas hotplates. notice the glass of wine (what you dont see is michaels beer!) the other one is of me joe and nat by the river, we were having a cig. if you think smokers are blacklisted in the uk then its nothing compared to here. we are treated like lepers!! we decided that since there were lots of children around that the safest place was right by the water whilst having a paddle. the final photo which is not great cos of my incompetence in photography is of stevi and murrae by the indian ocean at city beach at sunset. the weekend weather here for this weekend is storms and rain so no bbqs this weekend. our new bbq is sitting rather lonely looking in the back garden. took some photos last sunday as we had our first home bbq in the dark. i even made the kids sit outside with jackets on so that they felt like home!!!!

i have e-mailed what steve irwin would have been like with the stingray , ithink me and kenny r looking at september time you wont need time off work just leave us to our own deviceswe will soon find where all the local haunts are and massage parlours {for after the long journey you understand}

chummy i am drinking red wine these days!!! only at home mind you cos it gets me really drunk really quick, when out i drink vodka, lemonade and lime. hope you have a good time tonight. miss you loads too. x
i suppose you could show us about a bit , that bbq idea looks good could you imagine one in victoria park all the rent boys would be cooking jumbo sausages {och the thought of it}then michael me and kenny could go on a wee booze cruise, a camper van and a map and come back in a few days , let me know if you like that idea michael . hope kids are fine and work is good its abdn v celtic today sun is shining happy days c ya
i hate the time difference more than anything!!! i am ready for bed and your saturday night is just starting!!! so not fair!!!! when i want to chat there is no one on!!! please please spare a thought for those 7 hours ahead people!!!!
hey sooz, i had a quiet weekend, my one and only friend wasnt well and phoned on sat to cancel. so i went to the offy and got two bottles of red wine and a couple of shots of tequilla. got a little squiffy but definately not fun on your own. i love it here but its very lonely with only one friend!!!! glad to hear the saving is going well, the drink is about the same price as it is at home, red bull is dear tho.
