i was trying to post some photos of murrae in his new school uniform but the computer keeps freezing. he looks really sweet. it was so funny when we went to the school the head boy of the school is the same age as murrae but was bigger than michael. murrae looks so small compared to the rest of the kids. he is looking forward to starting tomorrow and we will take him down at 8.50. he saw his teacher today but didnt actually meet her. she looks nice tho. it seems like a nice school so hopefully he will settle well.
stevi has also been enrolled for school, she doesnt start til thurs cos her and murrae both start at the same time and we cant be with both of them at the same time. that and we couldnt get her uniform today cos the uniform shop wasnt open. she is not a happy bunny, michael cant pick her up on thursday so she will have to get the school bus, not that its that difficult. it drops her off at the bottom of the drive!!!
well aberdeen royal infirmary gave me a nice leaving present!!! i had to be swabbed prior to starting my new job and it turns out that i am MRSA +ve in my throat! the infection control nurse said that its very rare to have it in the throat without it being anywhere else!!! i was so embarrassed, i had to be taken by the infection contol nurse down to the pharmacy dept to get body wash, bactroban nasal cream and mouthwash!!! i just wanted to cry!!! i was totally mortified! i dont think she believed me when i said that surgical patients or staff arent routinely swabbed! i think she thinks that i am dirty scrubber! and before you kenny say a bloody word remember who you will need to stay with in australia!!!!

wouldnt be so bad but i cant go anywhere!!!! i dont drive remember!!!! and you know something.... its pissing rain here. it rained all day yesterday too and let me tell you it bloody rains, aberdeen has nothing on this!!!! the worst thing is that the forecast is for this until monday!!! i just knew it, i leave aberdeen and suddenly its a bloody heatwave.
yeah thanks for that mark!!!! i was totally mortified. i was trying to be blase about it but in reality was struggling not to cry!!! nat told me about that shop and i will be frequenting it soon. nat bought 4 bottles for me coming over and i still have 2 left. will keep trying to post the photos of murrae he is so cute!
trust the royal mail to be cheaper than some 2 bit courier company take all the germs you want out of here . hope michael has a vest and shorts for work dont he will need a boiler suit take it things are goin well will have a drink for youse, this weekend cheers
aky, cant see michael in vest and shorts!!!! at very least it will be t shirt and 3/4 trousers!! the weather is lovely during the day but it is cold at night. of course thats when its not raining!!! it rained the last two days, nice today but now at 10pm its pissing down again!!!! have more than a few for me at the weekend!!!
dave, i never stole it, they GAVE it to me!!!!! the mouthwash i have to use is absolutely bogging. i cant gargle and end up swallowing the bloody stuff!!! not nice!!! i am missing the bells, and the sweat box (club tropicana) its nice to know that if u walk into a place you will probably know someone!! thats not going to happen anytime soon!!! everyone here drinks wine or beer!! i dont drink either!!!! will just have to wait and see how it goes! are you and julie thinking of a visit?
soozy, fingers crossed for the mot, but i wouldnt have thought that there would be much. am really sorry about the cat but i can assure you he wasnt as badly behaved with us!!!! your spoiling him!!!! he knew he would have got his arse kicked from me!!!!! but then i didnt have much ornaments or smashy things for him to destroy!!!!!! maybe its just his way of saying that i love you and am making myself at home!!!!!! you can tell everyone at work that we are doing fine, just really busy trying to get everything for the house that we need. you know something i am knackered, its up shower and shop!!! never thought i would say it but i am fed up shopping!!!!

It's not all bad. You're not a dirty scrubber but I do have to agree with Soooz, what were you doing with your patients on night shifts?
