the 'backie'

this is the view of the back of our house and our garden, its not very big but its fine for us. the path extends round the back of the house and into the garage. dad i will be depending on you to help me sort it out when you come over. i havent a clue about plants and flowers. i want to grow lemon, lime and orange trees and we did look at them at the weekend but michael hasnt got a clue either so he wasnt keen!!! there are some flowers in pots but i am buggered if i know what they are or how to look after them! the itinery of the house lists the plants as healthy and viable but i havent got a clue they could all be bloody weeds for all i know!!!!

chummy, you are so right!
parsleyandsage, hang out washing? you've got to be kidding they havent lifted a finger since they got here!!!! active, what my kids? we are working on that one! we are beside scarborough beach its only a 10 min walk away, its been a bit wet for the beach tho. and no michael hasnt got his surf board or any kind of shorts yet! murrae is getting surfing at school come october and we are going to buy the kids boogie boards for the summer. think on a floor space ratio we have about the same as we had in aberdeen but with a garden as extra. it feels like there is less room however because of the layout being open plan. nothing like the size of your new place tho!!!
